The nearest airport is Inverness (8 miles from Inverness) bus transfer from the airport gets you to the centre of Inverness where you can catch a bus to Gairloch or train to Achnasheen (40 minutes from Gairloch)
Trains run regularly to Inverness from the South with onward transport by bus to Gairloch
Badachro is about one and half hours from Inverness and four to five hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh. For sat nav or Google directions use the following post code – IV21 2AA. This will take you to the Badachro Inn, which is our main meeting point.

An exciting new business based in Badachro, offering full and half day guided snorkelling trips, exploring areas that clients would not normally be able to access with their well equipped and fast motor boat. All equipment is provided.
Dry Island Shellfish Safaries
Join local skipper Ian McWhinney on his traditional creel fishing boat in the beautiful setting of Badachro Bay on Scotland’s West Coast. Watch as the creels are hauled from the crystal clear waters, and participate in an activity that has been part of Ian’s family for centuries.
Based in Badachro Latitude 57 is a gift shop established in 2015 featuring local hand-made art and crafts with a nautical flair.
Striving to promote the best of Highland artisans with a wide variety of bespoke items such as driftwood sculptures, local photography and art, hand-made soaps, bags, knitwear and tweed products as well as jewellery and a great selection of cards and nautical gifts.
Latitude 57 also sells ice cream, which can be enjoyed on the south-facing decking outside the shop.
