Well, its certainly been a strange year. We would like to say how sorry we are to have had to cancel course and charters and understand the disappointment for many of our clients. We also appreciate the loyalty that many of our clients have shown in transferring this years bookings to the 2021 season.
We have been able to run a few trips with groups from ‘single households’ since the end of July but that has not helped those of you who have booked individual places with us. Hopefully we will be back to some form of normal service next season.
The trips and courses we have able to run have been special, its as if we have the whole of the West Coast to ourselves with very few other boats being about. Here are a few of the places we have visited over the past few weeks; The Shiants, Taransay, The East Coast of Harris and Lewis, The Summer Isles, Mallaig, Jura, Rona, Skye. We have been fortunate enough to see lots of wildlife out there, Dolphins (in their hundreds), Otters, Sea Eagles, Minke and Pilot Whales and really exciting….an 8 foot Tuna that followed the boat for over 45 minutes. Here she/he is;
It is now time to take la Girafe back to the Clyde to be wintered ashore, it has been a very short season but I am already looking forward to 2021. The dates for our cruises and RYA courses are on the on this site so please have a look and get in contact if there is something that interests you. We leave you with a few images from this year.
And lastly the Kite and Dolphin shot!
